SHILLONG:
As part of the 91st Anniversary Celebrations of Indian Air Force (IAF), Headquarters Eastern Air Command (EAC) will stage an air display show over the Umiam Lake at 9 am on October 20, with India’s frontline fighter jets the Sukhoi-30 and Rafale taking part in the aerial display.
The air display will comprise of Advanced Light & Chinook Helicopters, Dornier Transport Aircraft, SU-30 & Rafale Fighter Jets, Helicopter formation flying display by the Sarang Helicopter display team.
The IAF informed that conveyance will be available for the convenience of media persons from Press Club Shillong to the venue and back. The conveyance will leave Press Club at 07:30 AM for the venue. All the media persons are requested to carry their accreditation/valid ID card.
