NONGPOH:
Three people were injured after a speeding truck rammed into two vehicles on National Highway 6 at Mawdiangum in Ri Bhoi District, on July 11.
According to reports, the speeding truck was on its way from Guwahati to Shillong when the driver lost control and hit a pickup and parked truck.
The three have been identified as Bantei Kynjing (22), the driver of the speeding truck, Ononto Majhong (21), the driver of the pickup, and Ravi Kumar, co-driver of the parked truck. The injured have been rushed to Civil Hospital Nongpoh.
The Nongpoh Police Station Traffic Branch rushed to the spot to conduct an inquiry on the matter.
