SHILLONG:
ASPIRE, a state government initiative, will provide training to ten thousand youths to help them identify the right career options for themselves.
The students will be selected through a Youth Survey from a base of one lakh students of 14 to 22 years age bracket.
ASPIRE aims in providing skill-based trainings, which would nurture critical thinking, soft skills, life skills, communication skills among the youth.
This programme is a developmental platform for the youth of the state to express their aspirations and sentiments across diverse themes through digital and offline surveys.
ASPIRE 2.0 was launched in March 2022 to empower and nurture the hidden talent of the youths through values and skills interventions for life preparedness.
