SHILLONG:
Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh unveiled a vibrant mural on the Deputy Commissioner East Khasi Hills office building facade on January 5.
The artwork seamlessly blends the state’s rich tradition with a contemporary artistic touch.
During the inauguration, Lyngdoh emphasised the need for a unified approach to garner the recognition Meghalaya rightfully deserves.
Highlighting the cultural heritage and natural splendour of the state, the minister declared Meghalaya as the upcoming sought-after destination. He envisaged a future where, if the state maintains its current trajectory, people won’t rely on the government for employment within the next few years.
