Two EMs to look after Elaka admin

According to Chyne, the reshuffling is an internal arrangement among the MDCs of the United Democratic Party (UDP).

The Chief Executive Member (CEM) Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), Titos Chyne informed that two Executive Members (EMs), Jambor War and Paul Lyngdoh will look after Elaka administration since present EM of Elaka, War is over burden.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, he said that War will supervise the Elaka administration of  East Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi while the Elaka administration of Eastern West Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills and South West Khasi Hills will now be looked after by Lyngdoh.

The taxation department which was held by Lyngdoh was handed over to War. Besides the Elaka administration,  Lyngdoh will also take charge of Town Committees, Building Bye Laws and Sports & Youth Affairs.

According to Chyne, the reshuffling is an internal arrangement among the MDCs of the United Democratic Party (UDP).

It may be mentioned that Chyne, War and Lyngdoh are MDCs of UDP.
