DIMAPUR:
The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), on February 1, announced the dates of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations in the state, scheduling them from March 9-22 and March 8-31, respectively.
Keeping in mind the Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP), issued by the government, the said examinations will be conducted in offline mode.
Notifying that the examination routines have been uploaded in its portal, www.nbsenl,edu.in, the board also informed that for this year, the Class 11 promotion examination will also be conducted in offline mode, scheduled for April 1-23.
Students who test positive for Covid-19 or symptomatic will receive one-time arrangements, given their inability to appear for the examination.
The board has asked the heads of institutions to share the information with their students.
Earlier, the Nagaland government, on January 31, had reiterated that the NBSE will be allowed to conduct the board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 in offline mode, as per the schedule decided by the board.
